Studying music should above always be a fun and interesting experience. Sim is passionate about making this a reality in every lesson, so that a love and appreciation of music can be nurtured and developed in an encouraging and tailored learning environment.

Sim is passionate about all forms of music, from classical through to jazz, and encompassing a wide breadth of popular styles. Whether looking to progress through the examination system, or simply to learn for the enjoyment of music, you can be sure that each lesson will be taught with enthusiasm and dedication. It is vitally important that a strong rapport is built between student and teacher, and Sim's friendly and relaxed manner enables learning to progress in an atmosphere of fun and encouragement.

In addition to his playing and teaching experience, Sim has extensive experience of working with children in different sectors outside of music, and as a result specialises in teaching beginner/intermediate piano & singing to children of primary school age, whilst offering lessons to older children and adults up to advanced levels if required.

Sim currently teaches at many students' homes and covers most Leeds postcodes, subject to feasibility. Lessons can also take place on his home piano, should this be more suitable.
